My Impression On The Famous Tragedy King Lear

King Lear written in about 1605, one of the four greatest tragedies by Shakespeare stems from a universally acknowledged old-aged legend in England. The story is about the old King Lear who is portrayed in this play as a self-conceited and narrow-minded old man. He gives the country land to his hypocritical elder and second daughters, Regan and Goneril, and banishes the kind and honest daughter Cordelia out of the country.Wonderful Trend Bible for Halloween Costume

Poor Cordelia had no choice but to run away from home and went to France with her beloved French King. How I Use Evernote to Organize Everything (25) King Lear himself only retained the king's appellation and 100 attendants, ready to take turns to live in the two elder daughters' homes to enjoy his later years. However, when these two daughters get what they want they drive their old father out, regardless of how terrible a life he is going through. Knowing her father's tragic experience, the youngest daughter led her troops to crusade against her two sisters. Unfortunately she failed. After she was taken prisoner, she committed suicide and King Lear also died in great pain and madness. Obviously, the two bad daughters also had no good end. Because of his vanity, silly King Lear killed his kind-hearted and innocent little daughter, Cordelia. From the perspective of us, he reaped as he had sown. After all, people at their old age, like Lear, who suffer such kind of miserable treatment are those who get the most bitter fruit in their whole life, worse yet, his most kind daughter died before him.

However, Have we ever thought that he is a common people, just like us, and if he didn't listen to others' admonition and truth, how could he stand on his throne till his old-age, and how could he govern country? However, because of his high state and long time unopposed imperial life, King Lear was surrounded by people making up for him. They always followed him, treat everything by the King's appetite. After a long time, he would like an addiction on the addicts, and flatter became an indispensable necessity in his life, and glorify could not be separated in every moment.

When he lost his throne and power and went through a hard time, he re-established his human nature. Before he died, he did not lament for the prominent momentum and the authority of a king, in which he once was so fascinated. He lamented for her youngest daughter, whom he expelled and cursed at the beginning. But he could never recover the kind and passionate heart which had gone forever. Thanks to his suffering, he realized that the most precious things were true love in life that could not be bought by money or power. However, when two daughters flattered him rhetoric to make him elated though all of their effort, only his youngest daughter was not fawning like others flattering to him, not afraid of contradicting him and greatly disappointed his father. Finally, she was deported out of their country under her father's anger.

The young daughter Cordelia was kind, naive and filial as well as obstinate and emotional. And this made her have not prepared for her father even she knew her sisters' true minds. Keep our self-respect and way doesn't do anything wrong, but sometimes people need talk and communication ,and sometimes words have more effect than action. She was fortunate, too. She got a true love from her husband because she owned nothing. This was the thing that her two sisters would never have or ever had. She was living in love all the time. Meanwhile, she was impulsive. She crusaded her two sisters because they treated their father so badly, but at last, she failed and was humiliated to die in the prison. Was that her impulsiveness?

Heart can not bear their own good, it should take the time to do the matter of certainty. But she had ventured to send troops without completely plan of her own, and that made the war failed underway. Though this story happened in the remote times, there are too many instances which are same as it in our daily life. We all like the honeylipped person and the honeyed words, with the result that we are trapped by them. Is it precisely a condemnation of those honey-mouthed and dagger-hearted conspirators? In real life, there are great differences between phenomenon and essence, appearance and content. We cannot lose our sense and become another King Lear because of phenomenon and appearance. Remember, it is not only gold that glitters. We all have a judgment for good and evil, false and truth. However, no one can born smart enough to judge them. Life is tough, life is not story, so no good ending is guaranteed.

We can really identify good or bad only after going through this. We can not lose the sense of discerning because of our desire, and we should restrain the nature of loving sweet. Withour the bitter taste, how can we know the sweet taste?
